Launched in 2020, the UNIDO Global Call is a flagship event seeking to identify innovative technologies and solutions to combat global climate change and promote inclusive, sustainable industrial development.
This year, UNIDO ITPO Korea hosts the Global Call 2024 under the theme FOODTECH. FOODTECH, a portmanteau of food and technology, is an industry where scientific and technological advancements such as robotics, AI, the Internet of Things, and 3D printing are integrated into the entire cycle of the food industry.
ITPO Korea has actively encouraged participation from companies across the FOODTECH industry, spanning Production, Manufacturing and Processing, Distribution and Delivery, and Consumption. We have received 228 applications from 5 continents and 55 nations around the globe. Applications have been received from Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America and Others.
